These are 7 songs that were composed on the banks of the Waikumete Stream in Glen Eden by Singularity an Auckland based group who have been performing acoustic environmental improvisation since 2013.
This recording also features sounds of stream, wind, wildlife and also the surrounding neighborhood of Glen Eden nestled at the base of the Waitakere Ranges.
In one sense the album’s title refers to the stream that the recording was made beside, and in another, it references the stream-of-consciousness collective composition style that the band has been refining in their live performances.
